Price list

# Every instrument, every anticipated price.

The whole list, in the open: 21 instruments across 7 suites, with the monthly rate, the annual plan, and what monthly billing actually costs across a year. Every figure is **anticipated** — published so the arithmetic can be checked, not because anything is on sale.

- **Instruments** — 21

- **Families** — 07

- **Figures shown** — 19

- **Not yet priced** — 01

Pre-launch — anticipated figures, no checkout, nothing purchasable.

## Commercial status

**Nothing on this site is purchasable.** There is no checkout, no cart, no payment link and no card capture on any page. Every figure below is an **anticipated** indication I have set — the intended shape of the pricing, not an offer, and subject to change before launch.

The [launch list](#waitlist) is where final figures land first: when I ratify them, launch-list members see them before this page changes. Enquiries can also go to the [published contact routes](https://hadalinstruments.com/contact/), which is a different thing from a way to buy.

I publish the whole list now rather than at launch because a price you can check is worth more than a price you have to ask for. The arithmetic below is exact and reproducible on paper.

- **Checkout** — NONE

- **Cart** — NONE

- **Payment link** — NONE

## The arithmetic

Every figure in this section is **anticipated**, like every other figure on this page. What is not anticipated is the relationship between them: the arithmetic below holds whatever the final numbers turn out to be, because it is a rule about billing frequency rather than a price.

**Monthly billing costs twenty per cent more than the annual plan.** Written as an equation that collapses to something you can check in your head:

monthly × 12 = annual × 1.2 therefore annual = monthly × 10

Paying annually buys **twelve months of service for the price of ten**. That is the whole model, and it is why the annual column in the table is simply the monthly rate with a zero on the end.

**The twenty is an uplift on monthly, not a discount on annual.** Paying annually saves two months in twelve, which is 16.67% — not 20% . The two describe different bases and are not interchangeable, which is why this page states the saving in months: exact, checkable at a glance, and impossible to overstate by accident.

Check it on P1

- **Monthly rate** — £149/mo

- **× 12 months** — £1,788

- **Annual plan (× 10)** — £1,490

- **Annual × 1.2** — £1,788

The second row and the fourth are the same figure. That is the identity, not a rounding.

## Every instrument, every anticipated figure

Grouped by family, in catalogue order. The monthly column is the rate as published on each instrument page; the annual column is that rate × 10 ; the third column is what choosing monthly billing costs across 12 months of service. The third column is a fact about billing frequency — it is not a former price and nothing has been struck through.

Standing policy — read this beside the figures

- **No promise of profit, ever.** Hadal makes no performance claims and carries no implied edge. Past measurements describe instrument behaviour — never future returns.
- **You own risk management.** Hadal cannot control it and does not insure it. Good tools do not fix bad discipline — and this site says so.
- **Analytical tools, for discretionary use.** Nothing here is investment advice or a recommendation to trade. Every decision, and every outcome, is yours.

## The commitment ladder

One month less paid per year of service, per step. The ladder is stated in months rather than percentages because months are exact, need no rounding, and can be checked at a glance. Multi-year terms hold the rate for the whole term. All of it is anticipated and awaits my ratification.

The anticipated term ladder, priced out against P1 at £149/mo. Every rate is anticipated and none is final.
Term | Months paid per year of service | Against the annual list | P1 per year derived |
Monthly billing Twenty per cent above the annual plan. Cancel any time. | 12 | +20% | £1,788 |
1-year term The list rate. Twelve months of service for the price of ten. | 10 | LIST | £1,490 |
2-year term Nine months paid per year of service. Rate held for the term. | 09 | 10% off | £1,341 |
3-year term Eight months paid per year of service. Rate held for the term. | 08 | 20% off | £1,192 |

### Three years of service for what two years of monthly billing costs

The three-year step pays 8 months per year of service. Over three years that is 8 × 3 = 24 months paid for 36 months of service. Two years of monthly billing is 12 × 2 = 24 months paid for 24 months of service. The two are the same number of months, so on P1 they are the same money:

- **Three-year term, all in** — 24 × £149/mo = £3,576

- **Two years of monthly billing** — £1,788 × 2 = £3,576

Identical. Committing for three years costs what two years of paying month to month costs, and buys a third year of service inside the same money. That is why the structure rewards the long-term committer: the economics genuinely do.

## Seat bands

**Seat bands apply to per-seat instruments and to nothing else.** 03 of the 21 instruments are licensed per seat: [Agent-Governance Constitution](https://hadalinstruments.com/instruments/agent-governance-constitution/), [Epistemic Harness](https://hadalinstruments.com/instruments/epistemic-harness/) and [HADES Terminal](https://hadalinstruments.com/instruments/hades-terminal/). Every other instrument is flat — per account or per desk — and its scaling axis is **entities**, under the multi-entity group licence, never seats. Applying a seat band to a flat-rate instrument is a category error, so this page does not offer one.

Anticipated seat bands, taken off the annual list rate per seat.
Band | Multiplier | Against the annual list | Note |
1–4 seats | × 1.00 | LIST | Annual list rate per seat. |
5–9 seats | × 0.90 | 10% off | Ten per cent off the annual list, per seat. |
10–19 seats | × 0.80 | 20% off | Twenty per cent off the annual list, per seat. |
20+ seats | NEGOTIATED | — | Group licence — negotiated, not banded. |

### Worked example — Epistemic Harness, 12 seats, three-year term

**The two discounts multiply; they do not add.** A 20% seat band and a 20% term band do not make 40% . They make 0.80 × 0.80 = 0.64 , which is 36% off the list. Here is the whole chain, to the penny, with nothing rounded to look tidy:

Derivation for P4 at £69/seat/mo, anticipated throughout.
Step | Working | Result |
Annual list, per seat | £69 × 10 | £690 |
Seat band, 10–19 seats | £690 × 0.80 | £552 |
Term band, 3-year term | £552 × 0.80 | £441.60 per seat per year |
12 seats | £441.60 × 12 | £5,299.20 per year |
Over the three-year term | £5,299.20 × 3 | £15,897.60 |

A buyer who can reproduce the number trusts the vendor who published it. Every line above is computed at build time from the figure on the Epistemic Harness page, so this example cannot drift away from it.

## The Hadal Desk

**The Desk is the shell plus the engines you choose.** The [HADES Terminal](https://hadalinstruments.com/instruments/hades-terminal/) is the provenance shell — the rendering surface, the hash-per-number discipline, the refusal behaviour and the core panels. The engines are peers that plug into it, not features carved out of it. A camera body is cheaper than the lens you put on it, and nobody finds that strange.

**The rule is the price.** A Desk is the sum of the components you pick, less 30%–40% , on an annual term. The rule is what has been decided; the band opposite is indicative around it. The rule holds for whatever combination you assemble, so you can compute your own figure from the table above before anyone quotes you.

**Annual, because the shell is annual.** The Terminal licence is annual-only, so the Desk is presented annually too. The indicative band opposite was minted on a monthly basis before that ruling, so it is annualised here at the same twelve-for-ten identity used everywhere else on this page.

Onboarding is scoped and quoted separately — commissioning a provenance shell is real work and is billed as such rather than hidden inside the licence. [Licensing](https://hadalinstruments.com/licensing/) sets out the multi-entity and multi-year doors that apply to a Desk.

- **Composition** — Provenance shell + chosen engines

- **Bundle rule** — 30%–40% off the sum

- **Indicative, per seat** — £9,990–£12,990/seat/yr

- **As minted, monthly** — £999–£1,299/seat/mo

- **Term** — ANNUAL

- **Onboarding, one-off** — £500–£1,500

- **Status** — ANTICIPATED

The Desk band is indicative and carries no ratified figure. It is reproduced from the internal plan that minted the bundle rather than computed from the catalogue, because no bundle SKU exists to compute from — and an indicative band stated as indicative is honest where a precise-looking invention would not be.

## Three axes: seats, entities, term

Pricing moves along three independent axes, and they combine multiplicatively rather than additively.**The structure rewards multi-year commitment because the economics genuinely do** — support cost is front-loaded, so a client who commits for three years costs less to serve per year than three clients who each stay one. Long-term committed clients are who Hadal is built for, and the ladder is shaped to say so in arithmetic rather than in adjectives.

And for the reader who wants one answer rather than an instrument: the [Assay Desk](https://hadalinstruments.com/assays/) runs a single measurement on your own artifact — your backtest, your statement, your data file — as a one-off with a written report, on the same published methods these subscriptions license.

### Seats

For the 03 per-seat instruments. 03 published bands, then a negotiated group licence. Bands come off the annual list rate and multiply with the term band rather than adding to it.

### Entities

For everything flat-rate — per account, per desk. A group operating several legal entities, brokers or venues licenses under a multi-entity agreement rather than by counting people. This is the axis that multi-network clients scale on.

### Term

Applies to everything with a term. One month less paid per year of service at each step, rate held for the length of the term. This is the axis with the most room in it, and it is negotiable for longer contracts.

## Two SKUs, one standing rule

**The hub price never exceeds the marketplace-equivalent.** Marketplace platforms take roughly 20 % of each sale. That saving goes to hub subscribers rather than to Hadal: every instrument's hub price sits at or below its marketplace-equivalent, so a platform fee can never invert your margin.

**Never paid-but-crippled.** A marketplace SKU must be worth its price on its own — the complete battery, running natively, no external account required. The hub deepens it; it never unlocks it.

No marketplace SKU is listed yet, so the marketplace column reads NOT YET LISTED rather than carrying an invented figure. The rule above stands regardless of what lands in it.

- **Marketplace SKU** — NOT YET LISTED

- **Hub figure** — AS TABLED ABOVE

- **Standing cap** — HUB ≤ MARKETPLACE

- **Standalone function** — FULL BATTERY

Frequently asked

## Common questions

### What does a seat cost per year?

Seat licensing applies to 3 of the 21 instruments: Agent-Governance Constitution, Epistemic Harness and HADES Terminal. Everything else is flat — per account or per desk — and scales by entity rather than by seat. Where a per-seat instrument is quoted monthly, the annual figure per seat is its monthly rate multiplied by ten: twelve months of service for the price of ten. The Terminal is quoted annually already, and is annual-only. Every figure in the table above is anticipated, and none of them is final.

### Can I license for a team, or for more than one entity?

Yes, and there are three separate axes. Seats apply to the per-seat instruments, in bands, with a negotiated group licence above twenty. Entities apply to the flat-rate instruments, which are licensed per account or per desk and scale under a multi-entity group licence rather than a seat count. Term length applies to everything. The three combine multiplicatively, and the licensing page sets out each door in full.

### What happens at renewal?

When subscriptions open, plans renew on a stated cycle and the renewal date and amount appear in your account before each charge. Cancellation is one click from the account page — no retention call, no cancel-by-email, no confirmation maze — and access runs to the end of the period you have already paid for. A multi-year term holds your rate for the whole term rather than repricing you at each anniversary. That is a commitment about how checkout will be built. It is not a description of a live system: nothing is for sale yet and Hadal takes no payment.

### Can I get a discount for committing longer?

Yes, and the structure is deliberate — long-term committed clients are who Hadal is built for. The ladder drops one month paid per year of service at each step: monthly billing pays twelve months per year, a one-year term pays ten, a two-year term pays nine, a three-year term pays eight. Over three years that is twenty-four months paid for thirty-six months of service, which is exactly what two years of monthly billing costs. Multi-year terms hold the rate for the term, and the seat band multiplies with the term band rather than adding to it.

### Will the marketplace version be crippled?

No, and the rule is stated now so it can be held to later. No marketplace SKU has been listed anywhere yet — every marketplace cell on this site renders NOT YET LISTED rather than a figure nobody has set — so this describes the rule rather than a product you can buy. The rule: a marketplace SKU is to be fully functional standalone at its price, running the complete feed fidelity battery on your own broker data. The hub tier adds server-side depth — portrait-over-time analysis, cross-broker context, the microstructure dashboard — but the standalone version is never to be paid-but-crippled. Any comparison of hub and marketplace prices waits until a marketplace figure exists to compare against.

### Why is every figure labelled anticipated?

Because I have not ratified final pricing and there is no checkout to buy at. The figures are published now, in full, so the structure and the arithmetic can be checked before anyone is asked to commit — that is the opposite of hiding them behind a contact form. One instrument carries no figure at all, because it is not built and a price for something unbuilt would be a guess. Launch-list members see the final figures first.

### Do you make performance claims?

Never. This is standing policy, adopted as working practice before any product ships. Hadal's instruments measure instrument and process behaviour — cadence, coordination, [spread regimes](https://hadalinstruments.com/glossary/spread-regime/), overfit probability, risk-of-ruin. They tell you the truth about your tools and your process. They make no promise about returns, ever.

**Payments at launch:** when checkout opens, transactions will be handled by a Merchant of Record so VAT and sales tax are applied correctly by region, and card details will never touch Hadal's servers. Until then, nothing is for sale and Hadal takes no payment.
